Marton is a village in Meredune Province, which is the epicenter of a cataclysmic earthquake in the year before Lisandra's birth.
Liban is a small fishing village on the easternmost point of Meredune Province. It is destroyed by a tsunami after the Meredune earthquake in the year before Lisandra's birth.
Pharos is the village where the Prophecy Keeper Nabhas lives, the place that Lisandra and her friends have spent Book One searching for. It is a very small, almost forgotten seaside village in Western Jorvic that lies over the Niwengeard Mountains.
Englafeld is the town in Eoforwic Province where Lisandra and Arethus find the first of the Seven Dæmons, Argante, who is inciting the townspeople to cut down the trees inhabited by dryads. It is here that they first meet Æscere, who joins them on their journey at the end of Chapter Five.

The Phippen Farmhouse is located several miles outside of the village of Ballisodare, which is located in Sligo Province. A short ways from the farmhouse is Heart Pond, where the two Phippen boys disappear and where Lisandra appears after her first Blink. Heart pond is the location of an entrance to the sluagh kingdom. This whole region is plagued by the sluagh.

The town of Ballisodare is where Lisandra finds the apothecary who tells her that the dust she found by the farmhouse is fairy dust, the residue of fairy magic. She also meets Arethus for the second time here, and he joins her on her journey.

This is the town in Sligo Province that Lisandra and Arethus visit during the Festival of Los. It is here that they impersonate royalty, Arethus flirts with Irina and her friend and buys them gowns for the ball, and Lisandra and Arethus first meet Cærwyn and Archimago, who is disguised as Vadim Ackart, Lisandra's father.
Cruland is Lisandra Ackart's home village. It is located in Worssex Province, several miles from Worssex Town, which is the province's capitol. It is also the home of Dalakh Thorne, who is somehow connected to both the King and the Dark fenmine. It is here, in Cruland, that the King's Gathering is held in Chapter Two, hosted by Dalakh Thorne, and after which Lisandra blinks for the first time in her life, to get away from the fenmine.
Pharos is located on the coast of Jorvic Province. This is the last province the companions come to in the book.
The Town of Alderbridge, where Lisandra, Arethus, and Æscere are able to find a carriage transport to take them on part of their journey, is located here, in Wedmor Province.
The Town of Englafeld is located here, in Eoforwic Province.

Dryhtendale is the province in which Dryhtendale Palace, and the city that surrounds it, is located. Dryhtendale is the largest city in Niwengeard and is the primary seat of the Kingdom's government. The royal family lives here for most of the year, and the Office of the King's men is located within the palace. The University of Dryhtendale and its huge library is located right next to the palace, and close by is the King's Academy, the boarding school where the children of the Aristocracy, children who are chosen to be King's Men, and other exceptional from around the continent go to school. The aristocracy from other provinces visit regularly.

It is here that Gallan and Loki Ackart come to beg help from the King's Men in finding Lisandra.

Chapters Three and Four of Book One are set in Sligo. In Chapter Three, this is the province to which Lisandra blinks for the first time, after her encounter with the fenmine. She ends up near a village called Ballisodare, not far from Sligo Town.

In Chapter Four, Lisandra and Arethus visit Ceodre, which is also in Sligo Province.

Worssex is the province in which Lisandra Ackart grew up.
Meredune is the northeastern most province of Niwengeard and was the site of a devastating earthquake and tsunami in the year before Lisandra was born.
Niwengeard is the Earden continent on which most of the humans of the world live. It is a kingdom of twenty-three provinces. The King is the head of government, and below him is a Council of Lords, each of whom governs his own province. The current king of Niwengeard is Adrideaus Wardlaw. In The Prophecy Keepers his son Alec has just come of age and will someday be king.
Earde is the world of the Prophecy Keepers. It has a medieval feeling to it, but it is definitely not the middle ages of our world--for instance, it is much cleaner. But there are knights and kings and horses and swords, etc. There are two "segments" to the world--the humans and the magical races (the empyreals). The humans don't really believe in the magical races except as existing in the ancient past, if they existed at all. But the empyreals (of the Light) are always there, keeping the humans safe from the Darkness.
